Animal shelter services

The Animal Welfare Act obliges municipalities to arrange temporary care for stray dogs and cats and other similar small pets. The found animal will be kept for at least 15 days.

Instructions

If your dog or cat has disappeared, contact the animal shelter and provide the details of the missing animal. The care of stray animals found in Lappeenranta is the responsibility of Tassutarha, Salmentie 306, 54820 Kotimäki, tel. 050 320 3324 (from 8:00 to 18:00) terhi@tassutarha.net

A fee is charged for the service.

The animal shelter may charge the owner a fee.
