Lappeenrannan Yritystila Oy and Danfoss Editron Oy Reached Agreement on the Construction and Leasing of New Industrial Premises
The cooperation agreement between Lappeenranta Yritystila Oy and Danfoss Editron Oy has progressed to the construction and leasing agreements. Lappeenrannan Yritystila Oy will construct new premises on the industrial and production plot located at Lentokentäntie 28, Lappeenranta, which Danfoss Editron Oy will lease for its use. This is a construction investment worth 18,6 million euros, and the gross floor area of the new premises is 8,246 brm².
Tuomo Sallinen, mayor of the city of Lappeenranta, is pleased that the construction and leasing agreements have now been signed.
- The new modern premise create good conditions and prerequisites for Danfoss Editron’s own growth goals and enables the creation of new industrial jobs in Lappeenranta.
Danfoss Editron Oy, which belongs to the Danish family business Danfoss operating in over 100 countries, currently operates in five different locations in the area. The company employs nearly 200 people.
- The project teams of the City of Lappeenranta and Lappeenrannan Yritystila Oy and Danfoss Editron Oy have worked closely together throughout the planning phase, and the work continues. The construction phase is expected to begin in August 2025, with the goal of moving the company's five locations under one roof in the new premises by the end of 2026, explains Lassi Nurmi, acting property manager of Lappeenrannan Yritystila Oy.
The new premise will enable sustainable growth for Danfoss Editron Oy in Lappeenranta as a top expert in hybrid and fully electric power transmission devices.
