Water-borne epidemic notification
A water-borne epidemic refers to several disease cases that have occurred at a certain time and in a certain area and have a common source of water exposure. In the areas of Lappeenranta, Lemi, Luumäki, Savitaipale and Taipalsaari, you can submit a notification via the online notification channel, the Ilppa service, by calling the health inspector or by e-mail to the registry of the environmental services.
Report the epidemic caused by domestic water, pool water or beach water or its suspicion to the municipal health protection authority immediately when you notice the matter. If the suspected health risk is related to your own food business, report it via the ilppa e-service.
Use the service
