Exercise for seniors

The sports services organise weekly exercise groups for seniors as well as sports and exercise courses and events aimed at seniors.

For seniors, we also offer free exercise sessions, for example in Louhenpuisto, and a shopping centre walk in Iso Kristiina.

Outdoor exercise for everybody

Walking and movemet groups

We focus on walking, body maintenance and light muscle exercises. We move throughout the winter. No registration or fees.

Tue 9.15 - 10.00 am. Start from Sammontori (specially for seniors)
Tue 1.00 - 2.00 pm. Start from Juvakka field (for all ages)

Easy moving in Louhenpuisto

We focus on balance, body maintenance and light muscle exercises. We move throughout the winter. No registration or fees.

Wed 1.00 - 1.30 at Louhenpuisto activity park

 

Senior dance

Joyful, safe and easy dance to music that's easy to follow. We learn easy steps and dance in a circle. You can come as a couple or on your own.

Circuit training is guided strength training at the gym using different equipment. The groups require registration.

The groups have a joint warm-up and after that independent training. The instructor will be there to guide you. The groups require registration.
