The Children and Youth Committee annually determines the prices for the use of youth centre facilities and for the products and services provided by youth services. The rents for youth services facilities are divided into three price groups.

Price group 1: youth organisations based in Lappeenranta and junior activities of sports clubs in Lappeenranta

Price group 2: adult groups of sports clubs in Lappeenranta, other associations and organisations (other than youth organisations) in Lappeenranta and independent action groups. Other administrative branches of the City of Lappeenranta, schools and daycare centres (internal VAT 0%). Educational institutions in Lappeenranta, the Steiner school, the Finnish-Russian School of Eastern Finland, Lappeenrannan kristillinen koulu, Etelä-Karjalan kansalaisopisto and Eksote. Regional and national organisations when the activities are targeted at young people in Lappeenranta. Foundations.

Price group 3: other communities with the right to collect taxes (other municipalities, parish), clubs and organisations in other municipalities. Private events, commercial instances and sales events (e.g. flea markets).

The usage fees include VAT 24%. The facility reservation prices for schools and daycare centres are net prices with VAT 0%.

Monari youth centre and multi-purpose facility is located in the city centre, in Anni Swanin katu 7. There you can book a kitchen, youth space, billiard lounge, craft rooms and two halls.

Rientola youth centre is located in Joutseno, in Kesolantie 9. You can book a hall, all the facilities or a meeting room at Rientola.

Asinsaari camp centre

Price group 1: €75.00/day (24 h) including VAT 24%. For school classes and daycare centres in Lappeenranta, the youth organisation fee is charged for the use of Asinsaari.

Price group 2: €170.00/day (24 h) including VAT 24%. The price excluding VAT is €137.10/day.

Price group 3: €400.00/day (24 h) including VAT 24%.

For the use of Asinsaari, a daily fee is charged for the first day’s booking. The next daily fee will be charged after 24 hours. In other words, the daily price is charged for every beginning 24 hours.

Fees other than facility usage fees as of 1 January 2022

Button machine, including 100 blanks

€55.00/7 days including VAT 24%. The price excluding VAT is €44.35/7 days. The next 100 blanks are €55.00/100 pieces. The price excluding VAT is €44.35/100 pieces. The button machine must not be used for commercial purposes.

Pottery kiln in the craft space

€55.00/firing including VAT 24%. The price excluding VAT is €44.35/firing. Must not be used for commercial purposes.

Band rooms

€120.00/season including VAT 24%. Key deposit €30.00/season including VAT 24%.

Terms and conditions for booking youth centre facilities and goods rented from youth services

A booking can be cancelled free of charge 7 days in advance.
A normal booking fee will be charged for a non-cancelled booking or a booking that has been cancelled too late (later than 7 days in advance).

The negligent use of the facilities (failure to clean, leaving the doors open, leaving the lights on, etc.) is charged to the person making the reservation for a minimum of €100 or according to the actual costs of the operations caused by the negligence.
