Welcome to the library! Lappeenranta City Library consists of a main library, six local libraries and the Willitys library mobile library.

The library offers something for everyone. At the library, you can borrow and return books, music, films and sports equipment. At the library, you can ask for help with information retrieval, use computers, print or participate in events and exhibitions. The materials at Lappeenranta City Library include, for example, printed books, magazines, sheet music, maps, games, sports equipment, audiovisual materials and electronic materials.

Anyone can become a library customer. Adults need a photo ID to register, and children need the consent of a guardian. You become a library customer by getting a library card. Getting a library card is free. With a library card, you also agree to the library's rules of use.

Membership and use of the libraries is generally free of charge, but sometimes fees may apply for overdue loans or lost books.

Lappeenranta City Library is part of the Heili library group, so the same library card is valid in all public libraries in South Karelia and you can use all of them.
