The City of Lappeenranta’s working unit, South Karelia Immigrant Services, operates in the municipalities of Lappeenranta, Imatra, Taipalsaari, Lemi, Luumäki, Savitaipale, Ruokolahti, Rautjärvi and Parikkala. We are also responsible for initial assessments and integration plans for immigrants as well as for tasks relating to the municipal reception of refugees. In addition, we guide other operators in the region on immigration and integration issues.

We provide immigrants with guidance and counselling in several different languages. Our services are free of charge and confidential to the customer.
