Special teaching arrangements

All pupils have the right to receive education. Sometimes illness or some other situation in life may temporarily hinder or hamper your child’s school attendance. In this case, the headmaster may, if necessary, make a decision on special teaching arrangements. Special teaching arrangements may cover one or multiple subjects. Teaching can be arranged so that it deviates from the allocation of lesson hours and the curriculum, for example, by shortening the school day, replacing assignments in a subject with other tasks or by means of distance learning. Special teaching arrangements are always planned individually with the best interests of the pupil in mind.

If your child receives special-needs support, the headmaster decides on special teaching arrangements in the decision on special-needs support. Otherwise, the headmaster makes a separate decision. The decision is always temporary.
