The Wolkoff House and its movables were donated to the City of Lappeenranta’s department of museum services in 1986. The residential building was decided to preserve in its original form as Wolkoff’s home museum.
The home museum’s collection consists of several types of artefacts, most of which are on display in the Wolkoff house. The movables included many items in storage, such as textiles. The so-called Wolkoff storage collection is preserved in connection with the South Karelia Museum collections.
