Learn to take great Nature Photos  New!

These events are for anyone interested in learning taking pictures.
You don´t need a digital camera - this is not a technical class.
We'll focus on seeing the picture before you take it, and sharing our experience in a group.
Wear shoes and clothes suitable for the weather and for walking in nature. We will sometimes be kneeling or getting lower to the ground.
In case of rain, we will still go, but you might need some plastic bag to cover the camera. Zip-Lock bags are good for this.

Orienteering for beginners New!

Learn a very important skill!  Find your way safely in nature with a map and a compass.

We start from the very beginning and you get individual help.
The course is held by instructors from Lappeen Riento sportsclub.
The course also includes joining an “Iltarastit” orienteering event
Please wear shoes and clothes according to the weather! It´s often wet in the forest..

WINTERSPORTS

The  snow is slowly melting and the winter will soon be over.
Crosscountry skiing is still possible at some spots.
The outdoor skate rinks are no longer maintained.

Outdoor Exercise for Everybody

We focus on walking, body maintenance and light muscle exercises.
We move throughout the winter. No registration or fees.

Body Weight Control  -classes

The classes are aimed for people whose BMI is over 30.
These groups also give an excellent restart to exercising after a longer break.

Sports peer groups for men 

These group offer support for starting a more active lifestyle.
The classes include workout, muscle toning, floorball and volleyball. The classes are held in Kourula, Kahilanniemi and Huhtiniemi.
