Tours and group visits to the library

Tours and group visits introduce the participants to the library and its services. The content of the visit is agreed upon separately. It can be, for example, instruction in information retrieval and library use, an introduction to the library’s facilities, collections and services or book talk.

Group visits are suitable for pre-primary education, comprehensive school pupils, upper secondary level students, adult students and immigrants. Group visits are free.

• Appointments for the main library are made through the information desk.
• Local libraries make their own appointments for group visits. Contact the local library directly.
