The special-needs teacher in early childhood education is an expert in special pedagogy in early childhood education, who is responsible for the planning, implementation and assessment of special needs education together with early childhood education professionals, guardians and other cooperation parties. Support provided by the special-needs teacher in early childhood education can include consultation and regular or periodic part-time special-needs education directed at a child or group of children in cooperation with the early childhood education teams.
