Suomea ja Uintia swimming school NEW

Lappeenranta Swimming pool. Pohjolankatu 29.
The swimming school is held 5 times:
Monday-Friday 17-21 August 
Children age 5-7 at 5-5.45. This course is ment for total beginners.
Children age 7-10 with swimming skills 5 meters upwards at 6-6.45 

During the courses you get familiar with the water and start learning basic swimming skills
We use easy Finnish and English in the course.

Family Sport Race

Kasinonpuisto park, Ainonkatu 19-31, Lappeenranta
Tue 4th August at 9:30-12:30
Gather your family and take on a fun sport race together! At various checkpoints around Lappeenranta, you'll complete physical tasks, move together and enjoy quality time as a family.
The route is approx. 2.7 km long and suitable for children of all ages. The race takes about 1.5 hours, but feel free to take breaks along the way.
Pick up the instructions at Kasinonpuisto, you can begin the race at any time between 9:30am and 11am.
The event is free of charge, no prior registration is needed.

Family activity picnic at the Fortress

Kristiinankatu 2, Lappeenranta
Wed August 5 at 10:00–12:00
Come and enjoy a fun and active morning with your family!
Meet in front of the Cavalry Museum. From there, a 20-minute hobby horse walk.
The walk ends with a picnic and activities.
Bring your own snacks and, if you like, your own hobby horse.
Organized together with Lappeenranta museums.
The event is free of charge, no registration needed.

Family Exercise Group

Lappeenranta Sports Hall, Judo Hall
Thursdays, 9:30–10:15 am (
3 September – 17 December) (Except the autumn holiday week)
For preschool children (age 2–5 years)
Parents participate together with their children. You may attend with one or more children.
The focus is on learning  basic movement and motor skills through games, and obstacle courses etc.
Free of charge but registration is required.
Registration: Tuesday 18 August, 9:00 am – Wednesday 19 August, 11:00 pm

Various sports equipment is available, from balls to inflatable mats.
Activities are supervised, but every child must be accompanied by their own adult.
A quiet hour
*) is available for children with special needs (for example ADHD, autism, physical disabilities, or other challenges).

Sports Circus

Taidekoulu Estradi Teollisuuskatu 9
Sunday, 27 September 10:00 am–1:00 pm
Come and try circus activities using a variety of equipment such as acrobatics mats, trampolines, balance equipment
Children must be accompanied by an adult. No registration required.
Fee €2.80 per child, adults free of charge

The  swimming pool entrance is to be paid but no fee for the event. No registration required.Fun water events for the whole family.
The activities are supervised, but children must always be accompanied by an adult.

SPLASH Pool Event

Lappeenranta Swimming Hall, Pohjolankatu 29
Friday, 11 December 4:00–7:00 pm
A fun swimming pool event for school-aged children.
Normal swimming pool admission fee applies.
The  swimming pool entrance is to be paid but no fee for the event. No registration required.

Free swimming and gym hours 

Fridays from 2 -5 pm
Upper secondary school students and 2nd level students can swim and use the gym for free
during the mentioned hours  by signing in at the cashier. 
Students must also show their student card.
