Welcome to follow the development of green electrification!

This project strengthens the Ecosystem services and co-development in Green Electrification. The project is the City of Lappeenranta's contribution to the implementation of the Green Electrification Ecosystem Agreement and its priorities in the Lappeenranta–Imatra urban area.

The project aims to strengthen RDI (Research, Development, and Innovation) activities in the region's green transition and electrification, as well as cooperation between local educational and research institutions and the business sector.

The project also aims to enhance the Greenreality Network business network and increase its visibility, as well as raise awareness of the region's role as an innovation hub for green technology.

Implementation

The development project started in June 2024 and lasts until the end of 2026. It is co-funded by the European Union, and the development project has also received funding from the EU Regional and Structural Policy Programme: Innovation and skills in Finland 2021–2027, and the European Regional Development Fund.
