Welcome Service – Support for Settling in is a service designed for people who have recently moved to Finland. It helps you get started with your new life in South Karelia and supports you in settling into your new community.
The service includes 1–3 personal meetings with an integration specialist. The content of the meetings is tailored to your individual needs, and discussions focus on topics that are important to you in everyday life, accessing services, and integration. You can receive information and guidance on matters such as dealing with authorities, local services, and practical situations you may encounter in your new home country.
Our goal is to ensure that you receive the information, guidance, and support you need, so that you feel welcome and can settle smoothly into your new everyday life in Finland.
