Shooting ranges
The Muukko shooting sports centre has ranges for the need of different shooting sports. Maintenance contracts have been signed for the ranges with sports clubs, which handle range maintenance, reservations and activities. For safety reasons, non-members can only use the tracks by agreement with the sports clubs.
The maintenance and reservations of the shotgun range are managed by Kaakkois-Suomen Haulikkoampujat ry. For shotgun shooters, the area has skeet and trap ranges: 2 skeet ranges, 1 trap range.
The maintenance and reservations of the hunting rifle and silhouette ranges are managed by Lappeenranta sports department. The area has an elk range with two shooting stations in a noise-dampening indoor shooting range and a hunting rifle/silhouette range with 20 shooting stations in a covered outdoor shooting range.
The maintenance and reservations of the small-bore rifle, pistol and wild boar ranges are managed by Etelä-Saimaan Ampujat ry. The small-bore rifle range has 20 shooting stations in a covered outdoor shooting range. The pistol range has 40 shooting stations in a covered outdoor shooting range, and the wild boar range has 2 shooting stations in a shooting house.
