Lappeenranta Sports Building
Lappeenranta Sports Building offers the opportunity to engage indoor exercise in sport-specific facilities. The training facilities were fully modernised in 2019. The sports building, swimming hall and bowling alley are located in the same building complex.
The sports building’s ball games hall is the largest sports hall in the city, and main league level matches are played there. This hall is 30 x 48 m and it can be divided into four sections with curtains. The hall has elastic parquet flooring and roughly 1,250 seats in the stands. There are 6 changing rooms at the ball games gall. There are 2 cafeterias available for event organisers in the event hall. The ball games hall offers opportunities to play basketball, floorball, volleyball and badminton. The hall can host large events and shows of different sports. The hall is reserved for schools on weekdays at 8.00–16.00.

Sports building reservations are maintained in the WebTimmi. You can ask about and make reservations by phone or email or with the electronic form. Recurring reservations are applied for from the Sports Department on a seasonal basis at a separately determined time with a separate application form. Accessibility information
Six accessible parking spaces along the sports building walls. The main entrance has automatic sliding doors.
Stands on the entrance floor to the right of the lobby. Accessible toilet in the lobby behind the stands. Wheelchair seats are located on the upper landing of the main stands. The wheelchair seats and the top row of the stands have an induction loop.
Changing rooms and exercise facilities are on the K floor and the accessible changing rooms are along the ball games hall corridor: women’s changing room 2 and men’s changing room 7. Shooting range is on the P floor. You need an access code or badge to use the lift.
