Lake Saimaa multi-use trail
Multi-Use Trail on a Lake Saimaa is a multi-purpose route on the ice, which serves a wide variety of people moving on the ice, when weather conditions are permitting. You can move on foot or by bicycle in between the ski trails.
The total length of the route is about 10 km. The route starts at the Harbor square and goes past Karhusaari island all the way to Mikonsaari. The route can also be reached from Pikisaari. From Mikonsaari, the route goes to the new residential area of Kivisalmi, where you cross the Taipalsaari road to the Piiluva side. From Piiluva beach, the route goes past Naurissaari island, along the Tyysterniemi shore to the Cork factory beach (Korkkitehtaan ranta).
