Kahilanniemi gym
Kahilanniemi health gym has specialised gym equipment for rehabilitation. The gym is used for Guided Sports Department groups with a season fee and free-form practice sessions during which an instructor is there to guide you. When the gym is not being used for guided activities, you can use it freely for personal gym training.
The Kahilanniemi Sports Centre has no staff present; users enter through the electric doors using a PIN code provided by a sports instructor, which only functions during the session, or using a smart card purchased from the swimming hall loaded with access rights for either guided free-form practice sessions or the independent training hours.

You can get a smart card for free-form practice sessions at Kahilanniemi gym from the swimming hall cash desk. The card entitles you to use the gym during free-form practice sessions.
Independent use of the gym
The gym is available for independent training outside of the reserved sessions. You can browse reserved sessions in the WebTimmi reservation calendar or ask the Sports Department’s facility reservations unit about them. Smart cards loaded with gym access rights are available from the swimming hall cash desk.

Opening hours
Outside reserved sessions, the gym is open for independent use every day at 6.00–21.00.
Accessibility information
There are accessible parking spaces in front of the entrance door. The address of the accessible entrance is Valto Käkelän katu 3D. The entrance doors open automatically. The lift is located on the left around a corner as you enter. The gym and changing rooms are located on the ground floor.
The gym is in the downstairs lobby on the left, the men’s changing room is on the right, and the women’s changing room is around the corner next to the men’s changing room. Accessible toilets are located between the changing rooms with access from both changing rooms.
The gym is equipped with pneumatic HUR equipment, some of which can also be used from a wheelchair.
