Mobile library
The Willitys mobile library operates throughout the city of Lappeenranta. The mobile library starts its route from the main library. In the mornings, it serves schools and daycare centres, and in the evenings residents of all ages in neighbourhoods and villages. The mobile library offers materials for all age groups: fiction and non-fiction, children’s books, magazines, films, and audiobooks. Music materials are available by order. Book packages can be ordered for school and daycare groups for pickup from the mobile library. The mobile library’s collection is visible in the Heili Libraries online catalogue under item availability. Materials can be reserved for the mobile library free of charge. The mobile library staff are happy to assist with reservations and finding materials. Materials borrowed from the mobile library can be returned to other libraries in Lappeenranta, and materials from other branches can also be returned to the mobile library.
