The culture pop-ups provide free art and culture experiences for Lappeenranta citizens and visitors during the Dream Year of Culture 2024

Lappeenranta Dream Year of Culture 2024 offers free cultural content for all people. The selected cultural experiences have been named "Culture pop-ups". 

The Culture pop-ups programme has been put together on the basis of an open call. The first round of applications, for the winter programme, took place in September and October. The winter programme for January-March has now been selected. The next round of open-call will be held in February 2024.  

“ We received 40 good applications, from which we selected ten contents. We also thought about the programme as a whole, about the different art forms, the diversity of the target groups and events taking place in different parts of the city. “ says project coordinator Nelly Hakkarainen.
